It includes part of the upper valley of Ricardell, a tributary of the Llobregat d'Empordà river, and the lower valley of the Arnera river, where the Boadella reservoir, a tributary of the Muga river, is located. A whole set of mountains are part of the southernmost buttresses of the Albera, where the Sierra de la Calma stands out, whose highest peak reaches 662 meters. Scattered throughout the municipality we can find signs of Neolithic settlements, such as the dolmen of Mas Puig de Caneres. At the top of the mountain of Mont-roig (4km from the village) is the castle, with a viewpoint of magnificent views of the municipality. The Boadella reservoir is of great tourist attraction for the wide variety of activities it offers.
