Heating is provided by radiators using a gas boiler or a fireplace stove with a heat exchanger. The water is heated using two boilers, each with a capacity of 200 liters. The gas boiler and both boilers are located in the technical room on the ground floor. The house also has its own cellar.
The property has a well-kept garden of rectangular shape, through which flows a mountain stream. Can be used for relaxation or sitting by the fire. The nearest ski resorts are Větrov and Šachty, which are especially popular with families with children. In addition to downhill trails, cross-country trails are regularly maintained in the area. Mountain nature offers a number of nature trails for hiking and cycling. In the center of Vysoké nad Jizerou you can visit the Regional Museum.
